Child photography takes patience, experience and a genuine desire to get to know the personality of a child, young as they may be. Getting to know your child and his or her personality, likes and dislikes is the first step before I even pick up a camera.
I’ll ask you for some background on their personality, likes, dislikes, special stories or toys. Knowing this information prior to the photography session allows me to relate to the child on a personal level, so they feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera.
We’ll get together in the studio before the session. This is a free, no obligation portrait consultation. We’ll discuss clothing, poses, location and other details.
Bring the kids along! Meeting each other beforehand makes everything much more relaxed.
